Outcomes

Before we talk about how we work it’s important to start with why we’re doing the work.

We begin by defining the outcome: the real-world change or improvement we want to achieve. This might be solving a specific customer problem, validating a new idea, or improving part of our platform. It's not a list of tasks or features, it's a clear goal that gives purpose to the work that follows.

By starting with outcomes, we create focus and alignment. It becomes easier to priorities, adjust scope, and make decisions when everyone understands what success looks like.

Once we know the outcome, we can shape the right work to support it, and that's where cycles and vertical slices come in.
